Robotics

We arrived at CPIT at 8:30 and halped Carol unload her car we went inside and set up all of our stuff we ran our programs to see how the diffrent light affected the robot soon our first round started we got 40 points of 58 points (4 tiles). We newwhat the problem was so we fixed it in time for our next round which we got 54 out of 64 points (5 tiles and 2 green squares). After that we had some lunch. After lunch we got back to programing and we made a break through in our progrming but when we added the ultrasonic program to it, it didn't work as well so when we had our last round we ran the program with no ultrasonic so it got to the end but didn't see the can so we only got 94 points out of 104 points we were so close to finishing so we ended up coming 6 out of 16 so not to bad but we didn't make it to nationals becouse we had to get 4 or under.

Springston School Robotics

This term a group of students have been learning about line following with lego mindstorm NXT. me and the rest of my group have cracked how to follow the big green blob a the end but now we need to use the ultrasonic senser on the robot to detect a can in the blob we have been working on it at the moment it is quit hard but we have just started using it. Because what is the point if you can't get there in the first place but I have been haveing a lot of fun so far
