New NZ Flag referendum

At the moment New Zealanders are voting in a referendum to see choose our possible next flag. There are five all together. The winner will go up against the current NZ flags.

Of the five choices of flag, there are three which have silver ferns, one with a Kuro, and one with triangles.

If I was an Adult  would vote for the silver fern (Black , white and blue.) flag.

Firstly: the stars represent the southern cross which can only be seen in the southern hemisphere and the bottom of the cross always points north.

Secondly: The silver fern is the emblem off NZ and we use it in all of our sports and the Olympics.

Finally: Our flag at the moment looks too much like the Astrailands flag.

Motogp

This year I went to the motogp at Phillip island in Australia from the 16th to the 18th of October.  The points this year have been so close with the two Yamahas (1st Valentino Rossi on 296 points and Jorge Lorenzo on 285 points). It was a bad qualifying for Valentino Rossi qualifying 7th (click here for full qualifying results).

When the race had finished mark markis had finished 1st, Jorge Lorenzo finished 2nd, Iannone 3rd and  Valentino Rossi 4th which puts the championship standing at 11 point between  Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo but new news coming says that Valentino Rossi has been disqualified and will start from last in the grid for the final race of the motogp 2015 which will mean that Jorge Lorenzo will win the championship.

Well done Dan on being the man of the mach for the 2015 rugby world cup and congratulations for the all blacks on wining the 2015 rugby world cup and a goodbye to all the other all blacks that are retiring from the all blacks you will be mist from New Zealand rugby.

The animals were sort of well behaved. My dog Rodger was good 90% of the time and my friends dog had a pee on him as he was getting judged. The were was good 99% of the time.	There was a lot of poo left everywhere mind you thats what you get that with animals. There was nothing new at pet day this year (that I saw) I got a bit bored after a bit because we played all of the that we normally play.	Sam's sister had a wild rat and some little kids fingers got bitten because they put their fingers in their. Sam had a very shy of all of the people around.

The inside was dark and still, packed with forgotten treasures. Bent pens, unsnapped cards and unread notices.

That fateful Tuesday, Stuart opens his school bag to search for his lunch. Greg fur stirred as the oldest sandwich of all time came to life.

Stu watched I Horror as the great, Grey, mouldy sandwich slowly crawled carefully out of his bag. It gave home a long, sad look and then slithered over to the teacher's desk.

"Lift me up!" it croaked, Stu being the brave man he is he said no to the sandwich and through it  into the bin and through the bin out of the window into the garbage truck which took the sandwich no the bin to the dump and crushed it and takes it to landfill and rotes away under 100 tones of rubbish.

This is my house but this is no ordinary house this was a billionaire's house but this was no ordinary billionaire because he is a billionaire who owns a soccer team that lives in his house. But this was no ordinary house this house was in antarctica so this was a billionaire who lives in antarctica with his own soccer team. Yes that's right well that must be a very weird billionaire. Yes this is a very weird billionaire. This billionaire owns a one million dollar snowmobile. Hey where would you buy a one million dollar snowmobile. He bought it from lamborghini who converted it into a snowmobile. Okey. This billionaire own a runway made in the snow and his own airline company to fly him everything he needs to survive in antarctica. But three days later this billionaire turned into a millionaire and then he went bankrupt because his airline company went out of business.

This is my house in antarctica it's very cold outside but very warm on the inside. Recently I have rebuilt my house so now the walls are wooden and insulated with four heat pumps. I have four generators to power my house. My bedroom is very small because all it has is a poll for me to hang off. My kitchen is extraordinary with all the cooking utensils you need and food for days I have never run out of food before I have a private jet with my own landing strip and helicopter pad my house is the best you will ever see if you come down to antarctica and see my beautiful house.

5/8/15 And 10/8/15 write a funny story about a man who is made of lava

There once was a man but he was no ordinary man because this man was made out of lava. So he kept on setting fire to everything so this man had a very different life to everyone alls. Everyone kept on making fun of him so one day this man went to space in a homemade rocket and he went to the sun because he knew the sun wouldn't make fun of him because the sun was a huge mass of gas and the sun couldn't talk but he would be stuck there forever. But there was one problem with his spacecraft it was made out of metal and well lava melts metal and right on time his spacecraft started to melt and turn into lava as well so the lava man never made it to the sun in the end and he had thought to have died in space so this mans body was floating in space still to this day.

15. Have a shower.

22. Go on holiday and use my private jet.

Dear doctor handsome.

I am inviting you to my 32 birthday party this year we are going to the MOON. The party will be one the 21st of August, and this year it is a cat free birthday party so don't worry about my cat :)

P.S. Great work being a dentist I've heard you've made a small fortune in the past few months.

Robotics

We arrived at CPIT at 8:30 and halped Carol unload her car we went inside and set up all of our stuff we ran our programs to see how the diffrent light affected the robot soon our first round started we got 40 points of 58 points (4 tiles). We newwhat the problem was so we fixed it in time for our next round which we got 54 out of 64 points (5 tiles and 2 green squares). After that we had some lunch. After lunch we got back to programing and we made a break through in our progrming but when we added the ultrasonic program to it, it didn't work as well so when we had our last round we ran the program with no ultrasonic so it got to the end but didn't see the can so we only got 94 points out of 104 points we were so close to finishing so we ended up coming 6 out of 16 so not to bad but we didn't make it to nationals becouse we had to get 4 or under.

100 Word Challenge: Light show

I woke up to the sight of light streaming through my window. I ran outside to see the extraordinary light show, it was the northern lights it was the best light show I had ever seen I ran back inside and woke up mum and dad as well we were all amazed at this extraordinary sight I wished this sight would never go away but then the sun started to rise and destroyed this amazing light show which was sad because it could of been a one in a life time sight but at lest I saw it unlike others.

This is an island that has no water around it instead it had lava so it was very hot on this island. Anyone who had tried to get to this island would get burned very badly so you need to go in a hallycopter to get there but you can't land on it because it's also made out of lava. No no no if it's made out of lava it's not a island. What did I tell you last time, yes okey right back to the story. This island is called sam and sam island has been catching people's attention for centuries now because no ones been able to examine it from it's lava ishoes people say it was carved by hall and will take over the world one day and people have been waiting for that day for ever like I mean ever so get ready.

In 2015 we went to Orton Bradley park and we camped in tents for two nights we did during the day we did:

Persuade me: Kids need longer breaks at school

I think kids should get longer breaks at school. I have three good reasons to back my argument.

Fistly I think kids need longer breaks at school because it would be good for their learning. The reason is they have to much energy in class and all they want to do is go outside and play games.

Another reason is that kids need longer breaks becouse school isn't fun eneymore. Because kids should get the same amount of break as their inside learning at school. 

One last reason is that kids need longer breaks becouse they have to much energy so they don't write as neatly at school.

In conclusion kids nead longer breaks at school to inprove their learning at school.

Springston School Robotics

This term a group of students have been learning about line following with lego mindstorm NXT. me and the rest of my group have cracked how to follow the big green blob a the end but now we need to use the ultrasonic senser on the robot to detect a can in the blob we have been working on it at the moment it is quit hard but we have just started using it. Because what is the point if you can't get there in the first place but I have been haveing a lot of fun so far

This weeks 100 word challenge: The mystery potion

how to make a potion that makes you grow a second head

Ingredient:

1. 1 pig head
2. 1 cup of your hair (fresh works best
3. 1 cm of your own skin
4. 1 head of a frog
5. 1 sea cucumber
6. 5 human bones  

Method:

Grind up the pig's head and put it in a bowl add the hair and skin put it over high heat and tack it off the heat when it’s all dissolved.

Then pulverise the frog head, the sea cucumber and the human bones mix together and drink one cup every night until you grow a second head.

A group of penguin are standing on a ice berg. With a killer whale going towards them they seem to be talking to each other. Very interesting. Now they are moving to the side if the ice berg. The killer whale is getting closer and closer and closer. Pow it hit the side of the ice berg now there starting to laugh. It is kind of funny though I think I'm going to call this ultimate penguin teamwork. Yes that sounds good ultimate penguin teamwork right thats a very good name for this experiment.

 I landed on the moon all I could see was dirt and space I got out of my spacecraft. My heavy boots started sinking into the soft gray dirt. I got on my moon buggy and started driving around the moon. I got off my moon buggy and saw a huge crater I got my bucket out off the moon buggy and got some dirt for the science experiments back home then I got back on my moon buggy and went back to my spacecraft and for a moment I thought of my family back on earth fast asleep.
